At Pet Adoption Fund (PAF) we respect and are committed to protecting your privacy when you visit us at our facility or online at www.petadoptionfund.org
PAF Privacy Policy
PAF does not automatically capture your email address, nor does it employ the use of electronic cookies to recognize your computer. PAF may collect information if provided to us voluntarily and knowingly, such as an email communication from a visitor to our site, or receipt of donations. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
Online Donors:
When you make a donation to PAF on our site, PAF does not store nor has access to your credit card information. All of our online donations are securely transmitted through PayPal (https://www.paypal.com) and no financial information is ever shared with us. What PAF will receive is a notification of your donation, including your name, your email address, and your billing address (only if authorized by account holder.) Your information will be used by PAF for mailing an acknowledgment receipt of your donation, and for future organizational marketing and promotional purposes. You may “opt-out” of our promotional mailing list at any time. See section “Unsubscribe-Opt Out.” Pet Adoption Fund will not SELL or SHARE "DONOR" personal information with anyone.
In Person or Mail-In Donors:
When you make a donation to PAF in person or mail in a check, PAF does not and will not store information of your financial institution. What PAF will store is your name and billing address, so we may acknowledge your generosity by mailing out a donation receipt. Your name and address will also be used for future organizational marketing and promotional purposes. You may “opt-out” of our promotional mailing list at any time. See section “Unsubscribe-Opt Out.” Pet Adoption Fund WILL NOT SELL or SHARE "DONOR" personal information with anyone.
E-Newsletters and Promotional Materials:
If you subscribe to our e-newsletter, you implicitly “opt-in” to receiving promotional materials such as but not limited to videos and stories of our featured pets, organization updates, and fundraising appeals. Upon receipt of electronic marketing or other promotional materials, you will have the ability to “unsubscribe” or to “opt-out” of receiving any future electronic marketing notifications from us. See section “Unsubscribe-Opt Out.”
Unsubscribe-Opt Out:
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may choose to be removed from our mailing list at any time. You may ask to be removed by following the “opt out” or the “unsubscribe” instructions contained in the electronic communications, or by sending us an email to admin@petadoptionfund.org

Our website may contain links to third party websites. PAF has no control or authority over third party privacy standards, and assumes no responsibility or liability for their actions.
The Law:
PAF reserves the right to disclose your information if required by law or for judicial proceedings, and/or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and our property.
